Fábio Borges: the storyteller of the real heroes

All selected Real Heroes are interviewed by Fábio Borges, an award-winning Brazilian-American journalist with more than two decades of experience covering impactful stories across the globe.

Fábio’s journey in journalism has taken him through the Americas, Europe, and Asia, where he has produced over 4,000 reports and conducted thousands of interviews with world leaders, top professionals, athletes, and Hollywood stars.

In 2011, Fábio moved from New York City to Los Angeles and immediately developed a deep passion for the City of Angels and its people. Specializing in Hollywood and pop culture, he has reported from major events like the Oscars, Grammys, Comic-Con, D23, and SXSW, conducting exclusive interviews with some of the most influential names in entertainment.

Renowned for his credibility and versatility, Fábio has also covered some of the world’s most significant events, including the Super Bowl, UFC, NBA Finals, Copa América, FIFA Club World Cup, UN General Assemblies, G8 and G20 Summits, U.S. elections, and even a papal conclave at the Vatican. He has collaborated with major South American networks, such as TV Globo, RedeTV!, Record TV, Band, SBT, MTV Brasil, AOL Brasil and UOL.

But beyond red carpets and global summits, Fábio’s true passion lies in giving a voice to professionals and creative minds who are improving lives both locally and globally. As a journalist, he believes in the power of storytelling to highlight those who make a difference, especially entrepreneurs, artists, and community leaders who innovate, inspire and uplift our society.
